In the Heart of Oaxaca, is a Small, Picturesque Colonial Hotel
Hotel Casa Pereyra occupies a beautiful colonial home built in the 18th century. For more than 50 years, the Pereyra family has owned the hotel. During this entire time the Pereyra family has been concerned with maintaining and conserving the originality of the architecture while making modern improvements to enhance the comfort and convenience of their guests. Their care and concern for conserving the ambiance of the original home is evident throughout the complex. The courtyard has been recently remodeled. A fountain constructed from red quarry stone sits in the middle. Lush greenery and brilliant flowers surround the courtyard. The floor was renovated using the same locally quarried green stone used to construct the original structure and other colonial buildings in the Centro Histórico.
Hotel Casa Pereyra is located in the heart of the Historic District of Oaxaca City (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and just a few blocks from the Zócalo. It is an easy walk to many historic sites as well as local markets, museums, artisan shops and a wide variety of restaurants. Located just steps from our doorway is Basílica de la Soledad. The numerous ice cream shops located on the terraces of the church are a tourist attraction in themselves.
The staff of Hotel Casa Pereyra is here to make your stay in our unique city an unforgettable one. We strive to offer you the very best of services.
